Daytona Beach, Fla. (October 22, 2022) – More than 100 artists and vendors participated in the 2022 ONE DAYTONA Art Festival in Partnership with Gallery500, a contemporary fine art gallery at the lifestyle and entertainment center. The free event is taking place over the course of two days featuring high-end artists, crafters, jazz music, live art performances, and cash prizes for award winning artists.

In its third year, the award-winning arts festival features a mix of local, regional, national, and international painters, photographers, and artisans.

“We’re thrilled to share a diverse variety of art, culture and entertainment with our community here at ONE DAYTONA for our third year,” said ONE DAYTONA President Roxanne Ribakoff. “It’s been a delight to welcome new and returning artists this year, while also introducing fresh aspects of the festival experience for guests.”

New to the festival this year is the Wine Walk at ONE DAYTONA, where visitors could purchase a passport to enjoy a glass of wine at one of the participating restaurants and entertainment destinations at ONE DAYTONA. Each passport is $35 and has five tabs redeemable for a glass of wine at the participating locations.

Each day also showcases a colorful experience of live painting performances and artist panels onstage and at Gallery500, and jazz music in Victory Circle in the afternoons.

A new mural at ONE DAYTONA, in partnership with Natasha Azri of the Save the Arts Movement, was also revealed on Saturday afternoon. The mural will display as another great addition to the public arts campaign in ONE DAYTONA and to the mural Erwin Dazelle completed last Fall.

“I’m happy to see this festival continue to attract high caliber artists and showcase a broad range of art for collectors from near and far”, said David Fithian, a judge from Deland, Fl. “The future of this festival shines brighter than ever, and it truly is a community event for the whole family.”

Still to come tonight is the Daytona Beach Art Battle in the Retreat at Victory Circle. Twelve regional artists will compete to win. This event will be hosted during ONE DAYTONA Art Festival weekend for the first time ever. Tickets to attend the regional Art Battle at ONE DAYTONA are available on Eventbrite.

On Sunday, artists participating in the Chalk Art Competition, will compete for ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Best in Show Runner Up’ awards. Visitors can still participate in the People’s Choice award by voting for their favorite chalk art display through a donation. The Chalk Art Competition awards ceremony will take place on the stage in Victory Circle on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

The weekend’s festivities also include a Volusia County Schools student art exhibit, a creative Kids Zone with hands-on art projects by ArtHaus, live music, great food and more.

This free event is possible due to the continued support of presenting sponsor Brown & Brown Insurance, Coleman Goodemote Construction, Crunch Construction, P&S Paving and Daytona Beverages.
