Daytona Beach, Fla. (November 14, 2020) – The work of more than 90 artists was presented this weekend at the inaugural Art Festival at ONE DAYTONA – Brushes, Bites & Blues. A juried and non-juried arts festival hosted by ONE DAYTONA, was presented by Brown & Brown Insurance and in partnership with Gallery500, a contemporary fine arts gallery at ONE DAYTONA.
“As one of the only outdoor art festivals in the area this year, we were overwhelmed by the community support,” stated Lesa Kennedy, Gallery500 owner. “The incredible turnout is reflective of the quality of artists selected, as well as the commitment from our Sponsors and Patrons. We are very encouraged as we look ahead to 2021 and maintaining a November date.”
Brushes, Bites & Blues is supported by Brown & Brown Insurance, Coleman Goodemote Construction, Daytona Beverages, ICI Homes, P&S Paving and the Barton Malow Company.
The art festival also benefitted from its many patrons who spent thousands of dollars on artwork.
“The caliber of art is superb for a first time show,” stated William E. Darrah, a judge from Bradenton, Fla. “I’ve been judging shows for more than 25 years and this outdoor exhibition offers some of the most diverse art I’ve seen. Artists should mark this on their calendar and plan to return to ONE DAYTONA next year.”
